Mazda is stepping boldly into the electric era with the all-new Mazda 6e a model that bridges the gap between the brand’s much-loved Mazda6 and a new generation of fully electric sedans. More than just a powertrain upgrade, the 6e represents a complete reimagining of Mazda’s design language, engineering and driving experience.

Built through the Changan Mazda joint venture, the 6e embodies Mazda’s signature Kodo: Soul of Motion philosophy, now redefined as an EV.

Design

The Mazda 6e is designed to turn heads. Its low, wide stance and greacefully sloping roofline creates a seek silhouette thats both athletic yet refined. Flush door handles further improve areodynamics,while the subtle surfacing of the doors is there to givethe impression of continuous movement, even when parked.

Inside, the Mazda 6e's cabun is inspired by Japanese minimalism, the cabin is crafted to align with the Japanese concept of Ma, the beauty found in emty space. A 14.6 inch infotainment display sits seemlessly alongside a 10.2 inch digital instrument cluster, to provide a modern and sophisticated tech forward cabin. 

Available trims include Takumi and Takumi Plus, offering premium materials, and luxurious finishes, customisable ambient lighting, and a panoramic glass roof to elevate the sense of light and space.

Performance and Range

Mazda's fist all electric sedan will be available with two battery options:

• Standard Range (68.8kWh) up to 300 miles (WLTP)
• Long Range (80kWh) up to 345 miles (WLTP)

Both models festure rear-wheel drive, ensuring the balanced handlind and driver engagement tha Mazda is known for. 

Charging and Acceleration

With DC fast charging the 6e can charge from 10-80% ins as little as 24 minutes. Performance remains practical, but with a sporty edge:

• Standard Range 0-62mph 7.6 seconds
• Long Range 0-62mph 7.8 seconds
• Torque 320Nm across both variants. 

Safety

Safety remains at the core of thenew Mazda 6e, which proudly achieved a five star Euro NCAP rating earning:

• 93% for Adult Occupant Protection
• 93% for Child Occupant Protection
• 74% for Vulnerable Road User Protection
• 77% for Safety Assist Systems
