The next generation Grandland marks a significant advancement for Vauxhall in enhancing the appeal of electric mobility. It stands as the first Vauxhall model to utilise the Stellantis STLA Medium BEV-native platform. This new foundation and flat battery packaging design which allows for a 98kWh battery, enables the Grandland Electric to offer an electric range of approximately 435 miles (WLTP provisional).
Drivers can select from three levels of regenerative braking through the steering wheel paddles, and the battery can be charged to 80% in just about 26 minutes at a rapid charger.

The innovative underpinnings provided designers with newfound creative freedom, evident in the striking presence of the new Grandland. With an additional 173mm in length, 19mm in height, and 64mm in width compared to its predecessor, the newcomer exudes confidence. Coupled with up to 20-inch alloy wheels, this design places it boldly at the forefront of Vauxhall's SUV lineup.
The elongated wheelbase of 2,784mm and steep tailgate enhance the spaciousness inside the cabin and boot. The rear seats, foldable in a 40:20:40 ratio, create a maximum load volume of 1,641 litres. Additionally, with the seats up, the Grandland offers a boot volume of 550 litres – a 36-litre increase from the previous model.
Inside the vehicle, passengers are met with a blend of bold, clean elements and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The driver faces a wide and fully digital cluster behind the steering wheel, providing essential information for a focused driving experience. Complemented by the Intelli-HUD head-up display, drivers can stay attentive to the road without distraction. Common features like climate control can be easily adjusted using physical buttons, ensuring user-friendly operation.
Rear passengers benefit from an extra 20mm of legroom compared to the outgoing model, while the front seats are the patented Intelli-Seat feature, designed to enhance comfort during long journeys.
The array of driver assistance systems in Vauxhall's new SUV is comprehensive, with standard features like Automatic Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Extended Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Adaptation, and In Crash Braking. The optional Intelli-Drive 2.0 system integrates various electronic assistants, offering semi-automatic lane-change assist and Recommended Speed Adaptation. This system aids in lane changes and adjusting the vehicle's speed based on new speed limits. Parking is simplified with front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera with automatic cleaning, and the 360-degree Intelli-Vision camera.
The All-New Vauxhall Grandland is expected to arrive in UK this Autumn.
