Range
The ATTO 2 will be available in two versions: Boost and Comfort.
- The Boost model, comes with a 51.1kWh battery offering up to 214 miles of WLTP combined range.
- The Comfort trim is equipped with a larger 64.8kWh battery capable of delivering up to 261 miles on a single charge.
Fast and Convenient Charging
The Boost model supports 82kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30–80% top-up in just 30 minutes. The Comfort goes even further, with 155kW DC capability that cuts the same charge window to just 21 minutes. Both versions also support up to 11kW AC charging.
Premium Features
Despite being the most affordable model in BYD’s UK line-up, the ATTO 2 comes with an impressive list of standard equipment. Highlights include a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, an eight-speaker high-quality audio system, and BYD’s intelligent “Hi BYD” voice assistant.
A heat pump is fitted as standard to optimise efficiency in all weather conditions, while the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function enables owners to power external devices, from laptops and camping gear to kitchen appliances, directly from the car.
Blade Battery and Cell-to-Body Technology
Central to the ATTO 2’s appeal is BYD’s renowned Blade Battery, built on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. Designed for safety, durability, and consistent performance, it has quickly become one of the most respected EV battery technologies on the market.
The ATTO 2 also marks the first time BYD has introduced its Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology in a compact SUV. By integrating the battery pack directly into the chassis, with the upper cover forming part of the vehicle’s floor, CTB enhances body rigidity and makes more efficient use of space. This innovation not only improves performance but also contributes to the ATTO 2’s high levels of passenger safety.
Pricing and Availability
The BYD ATTO 2 will launch in the UK with two trim levels: Boost, from £30,850 OTR, and Comfort, from £34,950 OTR. Deliveries for the Boost begin in September 2025, while Comfort models will follow later in the year. As an added bonus, all ATTO 2s will come with five years of free maintenance, giving drivers extra peace of mind.
