The European EV market continues to evolve at pace and DENZA’s arrival marks a notable shift in what drivers can expect from a premium electric vehicle.
Backed by BYD Group, DENZA enters the European market with its flagship Z9GT: a model that combines advanced engineering, high-performance capability, and a clear focus on user experience.
A premium EV without compromise
The Z9GT is built on DENZA’s dedicated e3 platform and immediately positions itself at the top end of the market.
The all-electric version delivers up to 372 miles (WLTP) of range, alongside performance figures that rival some of the most powerful vehicles on the road reaching 0–62 mph in 2.7 seconds through a three-motor setup producing over 1,100PS.
Alongside this, DENZA is also offering a Super Hybrid (DM) variant. This provides up to 500 miles of combined range, giving drivers the flexibility of electric driving for daily use, with extended capability for longer journeys.
Charging that changes expectations
One of the most significant developments is DENZA’s FLASH Charging system, paired with the second-generation Blade Battery.
Charging times are reduced to levels that begin to challenge traditional refuelling:
