Both models of the MG Cyberster draw on inspiration from the brand's rich sports car heritage, blending classic MG elements with modern styling cues.
The Cyberster features signature scissor doors designed by Carl Gotham and the MG London team, along with a fully electric fabric hood that can be opened or closed in just 15 seconds at speeds up to 30mph.
The entry-level Trophy variant, priced from £54,995 features a single rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 340PS (250kW) of power with a maximum torque of 350 lb ft (475 Nm) and can go from 0-62mph in just 5.0 seconds.
The Cyberster GT, priced from £59,995, will be MG's new flagship model, boasting 503PS (375kW) and 725Nm (535 lb ft) of torque. This dual-motor, all-wheel-drive GT can accelerate from 0-62mph in an impressive 3.2 seconds.
Both the Trophy and GT come equipped with four drive modes – Comfort, Custom, Sport, and Track – allowing drivers to experience the full potential of the Cyberster, from long-distance touring to performance-focused driving.
Both models have undergone an extensive 18-month performance and handling development program in the UK, resulting in a powerful roadster optimized for driving in the city and on the open road.
With a 77kWh battery, the Trophy offers a range of up to 316 miles, while the GT provides 276 miles of range.
The Cyberster is equipped with Brembo brakes, three-mode regenerative braking, and rapid DC charging up to 150kW, allowing for a quick charge from 10% to 80% in just 38 minutes.

The interior design offers a classic two-seat configuration with modern features like metal sports pedals, leather-style seats, and a range of exterior colour choices.
The Cyberster offers a luxurious and technologically advanced cabin, with features such as 6-way electrically adjustable heated seats with memory function, electric lumbar support, a heated steering wheel, and paddle shifters for kinetic regeneration.
To enhance comfort during roof-down motoring, a specially designed wind deflector minimizes buffeting between the front seats.
Driver assistance features include Lane Change Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Active Emergency Braking, Traffic Jam Assist, and more under MG Pilot.
The cabin of the Cyberster features automatically opening scissor doors, a three-screen cockpit, 8-speaker Bose sound system, DAB, and a 360° parking camera, providing a contemporary and connected driving experience.
We should see the MG Cyberster on the road from August 2024.
