After a successful 2024, where the Skoda Enyaq secured the seventh spot on the SMMT's list of top ten best-selling EVs with a total of 11,516 sales in the UK, Skoda has announced that the new and improved Enyaq lineup will soon be available on UK roads.
The full specifications have been released, outlining the updates for both the Skoda Enyaq SUV and Coupe versions, aimed at aligning the Enyaq with the brand's latest electric vehicle, the Elroq.
Design Changes
At the forefront, the striking Tech-Deck Face, finished in a sleek glossy black, integrates sensors for systems like radar and the front camera. The Škoda lettering has now taken the place of the traditional badge on the bonnet, while a bold illuminated strip, known as the illuminated Tech-Deck face (standard from the SportLine trim), connects the upper LED Matrix headlights. Just below, horizontal LED modules provide a fresh take on Škoda’s iconic four-eyed SUV light signature. The basic headlights are fully LED, while the Matrix units include animations linked to the Tech-Deck. At the rear, the signature C-shaped LED tail lights feature animated indicators (standard from the Edition trim) along with Coming Home/Leaving Home sequences.
Inside, the new Enyaq features a redesigned steering wheel featuring Škoda lettering instead of the brand logo. A 5-inch Digital Cockpit and a 13-inch Infotainment screen are standard, with a head-up display that includes augmented reality available (standard on SportLine).
The latest design elements contribute to improved aerodynamic performance. With a sleeker Tech-Deck Face, new wheel designs, revised air curtains, and better integration of the radiator and bumper, the drag coefficient (Cd) has decreased to 0.245 for the Enyaq SUV, down from 0.264. The Coupé impressively achieves a drag coefficient of 0.229, making it the most aerodynamic model in Škoda’s lineup.
Enyaq SE L 60
The entry-level Enyaq SE L 60 takes the place of the previous Enyaq 50, featuring LED lighting for both front and rear, heated front seats and steering wheel, along with Tri-zone climate control.
Although it is the base model in the new Enyaq lineup, the SE L comes equipped with Keyless entry, Predictive adaptive cruise control, an Electric boot with a Virtual pedal, and a rear-view camera complemented by front and rear sensors. Additionally, standard features include wireless charging with cooling and Drive mode select.
The new entry-level Enyaq 60 is equipped with a 63kWh battery achieving a WLTP combined driving range of up to 268 miles and supports charging rates of up to 165kW, allowing the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes using DC fast chargers.
Enyaq Edition 60 and Edition 85
In addition to the already impressive specifications of the SE L model, the Edition variants feature Matrix LED headlights with animated indicators, an electric driver's seat equipped with a massage function, and power-adjustable lumbar support for the passenger seats.
Edition variants also have unique Dark Chrome accents on the roof rails and window surrounds, dynamic headlight range control that includes integrated fog lights, rear side airbags, and manual blinds for the rear windows.
The Enyaq 85 is powered by an 82kWh battery. For the SUV model, the Enyaq 85 provides a WLTP range of up to 359 miles, while the Coupé variant offers up to 365 miles (WLTP).
Enyaq SportLine 85X
In keeping with its athletic character, the SportLine 85x features 20-inch Vega black alloy wheels, sporty bumpers, and glossy black styling details as standard.
Inside the cabin, SportLine drivers enjoy a head-up display (HUD), front sports seats, a sporty steering wheel, and a CANTON sound system.
To ensure that the SportLine 85x performs exceptionally, both the SUV and Coupé versions come equipped with all-wheel drive and sports suspension, along with the illuminated Tech-Deck face and an area view camera as standard.
For those who desire all-wheel drive, the Enyaq 85x introduces a second motor on the front axle. While the power and torque remain consistent with the rear-wheel drive Enyaq 85, this system enhances traction and stability by dynamically adjusting front-wheel power to maximise efficiency.
The all-wheel-drive 85x models offer a WLTP range of up to 332 miles for the SUV and 334 miles for the Coupé.The larger-battery Enyaq 85x can support fast charging of up to 175kW, allowing it to reach a 10-80 percent charge in just 28 minutes.
