Revealed ahead of the 2027 launch

Nissan has unveiled the all-new, fully electric JUKE at its Vision event in Japan, marking a significant step in its European electrification strategy.

As the EV market continues to expand, Nissan is building on over 15 years of experience while adapting to increasing competition and evolving customer expectations. The introduction of an electric JUKE reflects a broader shift towards electrification across high-volume vehicle segments.

The JUKE has long been recognised for its bold design and compact crossover appeal. This latest iteration brings that same character into the EV space, transitioning the model to a fully electric platform while maintaining its distinctive identity.

Since its launch in 2010, more than 1.5 million JUKE models have been sold across Europe. The third-generation model builds on that legacy, combining its established design with a zero-emission powertrain.

A Broader Electrification Strategy

The all-electric JUKE forms part of Nissan’s expanding EV line-up in Europe, which includes:

This growing portfolio highlights Nissan’s strategy to offer electrified options across multiple vehicle segments.

Alongside its EV range, Nissan continues to develop its e-POWER hybrid technology. This provides an alternative for customers not yet ready to transition fully to electric, offering an EV-like driving experience without the need for charging infrastructure.

Vehicle-to-Grid Integration

The new JUKE will also support Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology, alongside the latest LEAF.

V2G enables electric vehicles to interact with the energy grid, creating opportunities for:

  • Improved energy efficiency
  • Grid balancing
  • Integration into wider energy systems

This reflects a wider industry trend, where EVs are increasingly viewed as part of a broader energy ecosystem.

UK Production and Supply Chain Impact

The all-electric JUKE will be manufactured at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the UK, reinforcing its role within the company’s global EV strategy.

Local production supports:

  • Improved vehicle availability
  • Reduced supply chain disruption
  • Continued development of the UK EV ecosystem

Nissan’s wider European operations, spanning design, engineering and manufacturing, further underline its long-term investment in the region.

When will the new electric Nissan JUKE be available?

The all-electric JUKE is expected to launch in Spring 2027, with orders opening soon after launch.
