Many drivers contemplating an EV are concerned that an electric car will not provide sufficient range, and therefore frequent recharging will distrupt their regular daily or weekly routines.
However, this is simply not the case.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders has reported that the average electric range for new EVs launched in 2023 was nearly 300 miles. A few EVs available in the UK approach a 400-mile range, and more manufacturers are hoping to introduce models that surpass this benchmark.
Given that 99% of car trips in England are less than 100 miles, most could be completed with an EV without the need to recharge. Nonetheless, many potential EV drivers are still on the lookout for the vehicle offering the highest range available and therefore we have compiled our Top 10 long-range EVs, available from Lease Electric in 2024.
