Volkswagen have provided initial facts and photos of the upcoming ID.3 GTX and ID.7 GTX Tourer.

Volkswagen is set bring two new dynamic models with unique exterior designs, distinctive front and light signatures, sporty interior details, and powerful performance capabilities, to the EV market. Recently, Volkswagen unveiled initial details about the new models joining the GTX lineup:

The upcoming ID.7 GTX Tourer will be Volkswagen's first fully electric estate car:

  • A 210-kW electric drive motor on the rear axle and an 80-kW motor on the front axle, are combined to form an electric dual-motor all-wheel drive system known as GTX-4MOTION.

  • The ID.7 GTX Tourer offers instant power and torque for rapid acceleration.

  • With a luggage compartment capacity of 605 litres, the ID.7 GTX Tourer can accommodate the belongings of five people, with a maximum volume of 1,714 litres.
  • The ID.7 GTX Tourer showcases new bumpers, 20-inch aluminium wheels, illuminated Volkswagen logos, and a personalised interior.

 

The new ID.3 GTX

  • Will be available in two variants; The ID.3 GTX with 210 kW (286 PS) and a Performance version with 240 kW (326 PS), the most powerful electric drive motors from Volkswagen to date.

  • The flagship ID.3 GTX model will boasts a customised GTX-style front end and expanded standard features.

  • The ID.3 GTX Performance accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and comes with new adaptive sports DCC.

  • The ID.3 GTX is predicted to achieve a WLTP range of approximately 370miles between charges.

Excitingly, both the ID.3 GTX and ID.3 GTX Performance are scheduled for release later this year / early 2025.
