Customers can tailor the exterior with seven colour choices and four wheel designs ranging from 20" to 22".

Sustainability

Built using climate-neutral energy, the ES90 is engineered from the ground up with sustainability in mind. Volvo’s newly published Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) offers a transparent look at how its materials, manufacturing processes, and lifetime energy use contribute to its overall carbon footprint.

The ES90 achieves a total life-cycle carbon footprint of 31 tonnes when charged using the European energy mix. Switch that charging to wind power, and the footprint drops further to just 26 tonnes.

To put those numbers in perspective:

• It produces 50% fewer lifecycle emissions than the Volvo S90 mild hybrid

• It delivers a 30% lower footprint than the S90 plug-in hybrid

• Its footprint is even below that of Volvo’s existing electric models, including the EX40 and EC40

This makes the ES90 one of the lowest-emission vehicles Volvo has ever produced.

Recycled & Renewable Materials

Volvo integrates substantial recycled and bio-based content throughout the ES90, including:

• 29% recycled aluminium

• 18% recycled steel

• 16% recycled polymers and bio-based materials

• FSC-certified wood and the option for Nordico upholstery, made from recycled PET bottles and bio-attributed materials

Responsibly Manufactured Battery System

The ES90 debuts Volvo’s blockchain-based battery passport, providing traceability of raw materials and transparency into battery health and lifecycle.
