Volkswagen has officially opened the order books, from 30 July 2026, for the all-new Volkswagen ID. Polo, marking another important milestone in the brand's expanding electric vehicle range.

With prices starting from £23,945 for series production models, the ID. Polo aims to make electric driving more accessible than ever.

Up to 281 Miles of Electric Range
The Volkswagen ID. Polo will be available with two battery options and three power outputs, giving customers flexibility depending on their driving requirements.
The range includes:
-
37kWh battery with 116PS or 135PS
-
52kWh battery with 211PS
The larger battery delivers up to 281 miles (WLTP combined) on a full charge, making the ID. Polo suitable for both everyday commuting and longer journeys.
Rapid charging comes as standard, with DC charging speeds of up to 105kW, allowing the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in as little as 24 minutes.
Compact Size, Surprisingly Spacious
Although positioned as a supermini, the ID. Polo makes excellent use of Volkswagen's latest electric vehicle platform.
The cabin comfortably seats five adults, while the boot offers 441 litres of luggage space—more than both the Volkswagen Golf and ID.3. Fold the rear seats down and capacity increases to 1,240 litres, making the ID. Polo a practical option for families and everyday life.
A flat floor and clever packaging also provide noticeably more interior room than many petrol-powered cars in the same class.
Familiar Volkswagen Design with Modern Technology
The ID. Polo introduces Volkswagen's new Pure Positive interior design philosophy, combining intuitive physical controls with a clean digital layout.
Depending on specification, drivers can enjoy features including:
-
12.9-inch infotainment display
-
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
-
Heated front seats
-
Heated multifunction steering wheel
-
IQ.LIGHT Matrix LED headlights
