Lotus, the iconic British sports car brand, has declared its intention to become an exclusive EV brand starting in 2028. This move will result in the creation of an entirely electric vehicle lineup. The Lotus Eletre, launched in 2023, represents a reimagining of the classic Lotus tailored for a new generation of customers. In the following four years, the Eletre will be joined by three additional EV models: a four-door sports sedan (Type 133, set to debut in 2023), a second SUV (Type 134, slated for a 2025 release), and a lightweight, next-generation sports car (Type 135, anticipated to launch in 2026).
