The number of hotels featuring electric vehicle charging points is steadily rising nationwide. According to Zapmap, hotels or other similar accommodation accounts for approximately 6% of all electric car charging stations in the UK.
Hotels, self-catering properties, holiday parks, and even campsites are now featuring on-site EV charging in their accommodation details. Popular platforms like Booking.com and Airbnb have incorporated "Electric Vehicle Charging" as a filter for users.
As of December 2024, Booking.com offers more than 5,000 accommodations in the UK equipped with EV charging stations, while Airbnb lists over 1,000 options, and Hotels.com shows more than 300 UK hotels with EV charging facilities.
